How the sausage is made
Methodology
Three tools, written pros and cons, and a matcher that never calls an LLM. That is the whole product in v1.
What a top 3 is
Each /best page is an editorial shortlist for one task. Tools come from a local JSON catalog. We write short pros and cons from public product behavior, then date the note with lastReviewed.
What the finder is
The hero box scores your words against names, categories, and keywords in that JSON. It returns the three highest scores. There is no model API, no secret, and no live web ranking.
What we refuse to claim
- No "best in the world" or fake benchmark tables.
- No exact prices copied as if they never change.
- No paid jump in the 01 / 02 / 03 order.

Sponsor units are labeled and sit outside the list. See Sponsor and Affiliate Disclosure.
